This forest of towering evergreens supplies a wide variety of prey during the summer, spring, and fall, but lack many recourses in the winter. Many streams and lakes dot this area of land, and only two springs are known to exist that never freeze over because their water flows from a nearby active volcano that hasn't erupted in years.
